The casting of 5T and 2T tertapods were started at site, but was stopped for want of sanction of RE .The RE was prepared due to the changes in design consequent to the deviation in the bathymetry survey. The sanction for the same is not yet received from KIIFB

Initially, the casting of 5T and 2T tetrapods was started at the site .Due to deviation from the previous survey in the bathymetry survey conducted prior to the commencement of the work ,the IIT has has given the redesign of the Groynes and submitted a revised estimate to KIIFB for the approval of the increased amount ,but the approval has not been received till date ,so the work has been stopped .
