Description
As per the Government Order GO(Rt) No 132/2023/WRD dated 01-02-2023, KIIDC is entrusted with providing Community Micro Irrigation (CMI) at Pazhayannur in Trissur District. The total amount sanctioned under this AS is 200 Lakhs. The proposal is for bringing the Community Micro Irrigation (CMI) Scheme at Pazhayannur in Trissur District. It was proposed with an Ayacut area of 198 Acres which is on the bank of gayathri River. This area was full of agricultural land but due to the lack of irrigation facilities and a drastic reduction in the quantity of rain and climate made it the Pazhayannur most drought-affected region in Trissur. Which Leeds the farmers were forced to stop the cultivation and reduce the area of cultivation. In this situation, the scheme will be started and rejuvenate agriculture in the area. The total area is limited to 74 acres from 198 acres, additional area can be treated as phase II
