The work site handed over to PMC (RITES) by DGM on 14th august 2023. Appendix A: IMPROVEMENT TO SUB CANALS AND BALANCE PROTECTION WORKS TO THE MAIN` CANALS IN ALAPPUZHA TOWN -Side protection works including dismantling, reconstruction in main canals almost completed. In case of sub canals works in Pazhaveedu, Thirumala, A.N Purarn, Kaithavana , Mullackal , Kalarcode, Palace wards were completed. Kalarcode and palace ward final levels to be completed..Works in Nehrutrophy, and MO wards are in progress. Final levels being taken at SDV Chira thodu and Malikachira thodu.Initials levels were reported. Silt trap at Ambalpuzha –Gandhivilasam thodu, Vadai canal and west junction canal approaches are completed. Protection work at Chungam, Vadaikanal completed. Appendix B: Demollition and construction of twin box culvert(3 N0s) in AS canal and 1 no single box culvert in Madayanthodu :-At Vellapally bridge, construction of bund for box culvert, as per the request of local MLA started. At Arattuvazhi old bridge dismantled, Raft foundation work completed. Old Poppy bridge dismantled. Due to heavy rain constructed ring bund fully dismantled. Work can commence only after monsoon. Appendix C: IMPROVEMENTS OF KAPPITHODE IN AMBALAPUZHA LA CONSTITUENCY AT AMBALAPUZHA SOUTH AND NORTH PANCHAYATH:. Final levels approved. All work except at hindrance portion completed. Culvert at chainage 4930,6250, 6360, 9660,8580 and 4240 were completed , balance 2 nos to be done only after hindrance cleared. Appendix D: IMPROVEMENTS OF AS CANAL(BALANCE PORTION) AND MADAYANTHODU - At AS canal east side of protection wall at d/s of Kommadi bridge completed. Masonry protection work at LHS (west side), upstream of Pathirapally bridge progressing. Pile and slab protection work at road side(East) progressing. Desilting,Laying coir geo textile and protection work of Madayanthodu almost completed.
